Up for auction, a lot of 6 OCCUPIED JAPAN porcelain figurines. The Occupied Japan marking on porcelain items was 1945-1952, Nonetheless, an item bearing the mark "Occupied Japan" or "Made in Occupied Japan" is approximately 70 years old. These are considered "antiques" and are collected by themselves, or World War II memorabilia. They are HIGHLY collectible. All are clearly marked on the bottom as Occupied Japan or Made in Occupied Japan, some in red ink, others in black ink. There is basically NO difference. The shoe measures 2 3/4" tall and 4" long, the grand piano is metal and measures 1 1/2" tall, and 3" deep which if you look at photo 5, you will see that it opens'; moriyama vase measures 2 1/2" tall and approximately 2 2/3" wide at its widest point, and the mouth of the vase has a diameter of 1 1/4"; vase with colors of cobalt blue, wedgwood blue, and white with beautiful floral design. measures 1 1/2" tall, and 1 1/2" wide at its widest point and the mouth of vase has approximate diameter of 3/4";white fluted vase with floral theme and gold trim measures 2"tall abd abd approximately 2" long; and finally a miniature toby jug, beautifully painted and measures 2 1/4" tall and approximately 1 1/4" wide at its widest point.
