The listing, DELL DIMENSION 8200 COMPUTER WITH DISKS has ended.

This is a desktop computer that just needs a hard drive.i bought one and it was not a sata. so i am not spending anymore money on this. at least it taught me there are 2 kinds of hard drives. i have 4 other computers that need work done on them as well. i would sell the whole lot but someone would have to pick them up because shipping would kill you. i just weighed it and it weighs 33 pounds without being packaged so with packing, i will guess at 35 pounds. i also plugged it in and it comes on and both dvd/cd players come out when you push the buttons. i also noticed the fan runs very quiet. i have another one that when you turn it on, it sounds like a freight train.

No it will not in a large flat rate box. . i am really confused as to why no one is reading the dimensions of this thing and the weight. i have about 50 flat rate boxes of every size they make and there is none not one that will fit it. it is heavy and the dimensions are bigger than any box the post office makes. no flat rate box will hold this computer--sorry.plus--it does not have a hard drive which means it will not work until you fix it. i do hope everyone is understanding that. you will need to buy a hard drive for it to work for at least $29 to $100 depending on the gigabyte.. a 40 gigabyte is about $30.--used.if you are not extremely computer literate--do not bid on this computer. shipping is going to be $25.00 or more and if you choose ups---add $5.00 more for them to pick it up from my house because they always add a surcharge, the next 4 i list are going to be pick up only. god bless

Fl to Maine is $142 or more for shipping with usps, you might want to use UPS cause it may be alot cheaper but you will have to look it up. unless you live near FL shipping with Usps cost more than the computers worth.

Just a heads up-there is a video on your tube that shows how to install this hard drive,for this exact computer. The case has knobs on each side you push in and it opens the desktop--no unscrewing anything. The specs are on google when you google dell dimension 8200. It tells you ram, processor, everything you need to know. i will ship UPS but you will have to add $5 to $6.00 to the quote, as that is the furl charge they charge me. Thanks again.

20" by 10" by 18" for dimentions and 38 pounds. Not an extra large box. If you want it insured--which you definately should, add $2.25 which covers up to $100 I think. So if it is broken in shipping, you get $100. ok Boxed up it is 21 by 21 by 12 inches high--that is larger to include packaging. So use those dimensions and 38 pounds and if it is less than that when all done, I will send the invoice for the lesser amount. You have to figure your international shipping yourself using these measurements. The price would be 0 because you are not paying anything for it, so I guess gift could be used in this instance as it is a gift in exchange for points. Is this correct?? No money is exchanging hands except shipping.

Thanks LBug777-------about UPS, i will ship UPS but you will need to add the pick up fee to whatever quote they give you cause they charge $5.00 just to come pick it --may be more now with gas so high--called a fuel charge. So if it is $20, then it will really be $25.. I am going to check right now and get back to ya.

I do not know all the answers to these questions. There is no hard drive in this computer so i do not know the specs. This is for someone who knows about computers and can put a hard drive in it and figure out how to do whatever needs done when you put in a hard drive. So I do not know the specs. It is a Dell 8200 so if you google that it will tell you everything you need to know. It comes with all the disks and instructions. NO MONITOR. To figure international you need to go to usps,com and type in your address and mine--use 38 pounds to be safe and 20 by 10 by 18---for dimensions--use jane doe, 150 wall st. bushnell, fl. 33513 for an address and that will tell you the cost to ship--I will not pay customs fees or duty fees- that is your responsibility. I ship right from my house--usps only--they pick up right at my door. The dimensions are figured at what it will be once bubblewrapped and securely packaged. I hope this is all you need to know.
