That was 23 years ago, nearly a quarter of a century. It is in excellent condition, considering the age of this truck. This weighs almost 2 pounds. It is 7 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches high.
Good luck. I wish you all happy bidding. I welcome any questions.

somehow I erased half a sentence in my comment above. I was trying to say that if someone out bids me I will not counter their bid, but I wish them the best. I know StinasCreations wanted it for her mother. I hate to take it from her. The last hour everything can change. There could be a bid from someone flying under the radar. It sure looks like a very nice piece for it's age. If StinasCreations is out of credits and I end up winning, I will probably message her to see if I can help her out with that. She has been a very active bidder. I have been watching videos and taking surveys half of the day to get extra credits. I hate to say, I actually bought a few credits just to get on top of things. We shall see in a couple of hours. You and I must stay in touch in the future.

Just put in a maximum bid in at 60,000 credits. That is as high as I can go at this time. The bid is presently 56,219. That is about the value 23 years ago. I do not want the truck for myself. I am trying to figure out whether to raffle it off for CHKD or sell it out right and give the proceeds to them, if I should actually end up the winner. If not, then I wish the Remember Listia credits go much further than cash money in the Listia auctions. I am after something I actually like in another auction and have invested a lot of effort in that. Not quite as much as your auction. I was looking at the picture of your husband, you and your dog and thought how sweet you looked holding your dog with Santa hats. I said to my inner self, "this is a really nice person in this picture, a kindness about her face." It compelled me to help you out a little. It is hard getting started with Listia, but you will love it once you get a decent start. So here you are with a fair and decent start. I think I forgot to tell you, "Welcome to Listia." You will discover after a while, that there are many, many great people on Listia.. As you get more fans and for goodness sake verify - verify - verify your account. It will help you so much to get higher bids.

StinasCreations, your parents must be very proud of you. I wish everyone could win everything I list. You could use your bid for many items for yourself. But, you are only thinking of your mom and Mother's day. You are a very good and kind person. Bravo.

Hi, Christine. I am a fan and watching your auction. Yes, my research tells me this was made in 1947. Thank you so much for the question. Welcome to Listia. If you have any questions about Listia, I will do all I can to help.

Very interested. I collect and would love this! Do you know what year it was made. I know there are no markings, thought you might know from researching. Thanks! F&W

I Googled this. At the time this was made, Coca Cola was manufactured in Washington, North Carolina. There are no markings on the truck. Google did not have any information on the place of manufacture. It might have been made where Coca Cola was bottled. I did find out more about the true price of this truck. An identical, yellow, coke truck without the red decal, a front grille, and missing at 2 wheels now sells for $600.00 plus shipping.
