This listing is for a hard to find 5 cent Military Payment Certificate. These were given to U.S. soldiers from WWII to about the Viet Nam era. They were to use these in foreign countries so as not to sell real US currency at inflated rates to local citizens who had enough faith in the US dolar that they would pay more than the actual exchange rate in order to get US Money. This is smaller tan a dollar bill measuring 4 1/2" long.Check my other listings for more real antiques and collectibles.
