The listing, FOSSIL COLLECTION (boxed) has ended.
Older than antiques! The photos really don't capture each specimen's essence the same as beholding them with the naked eye and getting to handle them do, but I hope they help.
The earliest specimen (Fossil Algae) is from the CAMBRIAN Period and then the (Horn Corals) of the MISSISSIPPIAN Period, both within the PALEOZOIC ERA.
The "youngsters" of the group are all from different periods of the MESOZOIC ERA: the "eldest" to the "youngest" of these are, (Brachiophids) of the TRIASSIC Period; (Star Crinoid Stems and Fossil Protozans) of the JURASIC Period; followed by the (Pelecypods, Fossil Agatized Gastropods, and Fossil Gastropod) of the CRETACEOUS Period. The unidentified specimen, which I call "Number Nine" due to the fossilized "worm" in the curled shape of a "9" with a "period" at the right bottom, could be a section of vertebrae, but I really don't know.
This Collection comes in a "Lite Tuff" case, (as is seen in the first photo), where they have been kept the last thirty years; prior to that they were on a board (which is the reason for the "staple holes" or tears in the identification "papers".
