This auction is for 50 seeds for Sweet Gum Tree(Liquidambar styraciflua).
Sweet Gum is a native US tree often used in landscape plantings because of its ornamental star shaped leaves and great fall color. It produces spiny fruit that dry easily and can be used for making harvest wreaths, potpourri, or other craft projects.
These seeds germinate well but seeds for most woody plants take much longer to germinate than traditional garden seeds for herbaceous plants. Increase and speed up germination by using bottom heat after planting.
Additional germination tips and methods can easily be found online.
These come from my back yard and the leaves are gorgeous! They turn every shade in the fall and are in an awesome star shape. Detail of the bark and height are in pictures. These will be sent immediately for planting in time for spring germination.
