The listing, Mechanical Cast Iron Bank has ended.

The organ bank has an organ grinding monkey with a dog on one side and a cat on the other. Put a coin in the monkey's out stretched hand, crank the handle on the side and watch the coin drip into the bank while the monkey tips it's hat. Coins can be removed from the bottom of the bank by removing a rubber stopper.

I believe it's a reproduction. It was a gift from my mom and all three of us adult kids got a different type that year. I haven't found any markings on it.

What is the biege looking material on the front of the bank in the middle near the bottom please? Is it some part that is broken & has tape on it? FWB, great auction! Thanks in advance for answering!

It is a part of the bank. It is supposed to look like an open music booklet with pink print squiggled across it.
