Description

The listing, Lot of 6 Baseball Jersey/Patch Cards w/ Carlos Beltran, Jim Rice, Manny Ramirez, more! (READ) has ended.

This is a lot of 5 game-used jersey cards and 1 commemorative patch card. Total retail value of this lot would be over $80 (check the Beckett value next to each player and feel free to cross-check it with your Beckett guide),
I got each of these cards via Listia, and many of them were ill-shipped resulting in some minor damage to the cards. While I've had some rough "Listia Rejects" lots up in the past, the ONLY problem with these cards is light creasing around the patch, which is not uncommon in jersey cards. I will attempt to capture the creases in the photos, although I am sure some will be tough to get because they are light.
PLEASE check out the pictures so you know what you are bidding on.

2006 Fleer "Fabrics" MANNY RAMIREZ (Red Sox) - $10
2012 Topps Update "All Star Stitches" CARLOS BELTRAN (St. Louis Cardinals) - $10
2012 Topps "Retired Numbers Patch" JIM RICE (Red Sox) - $15
2002 Topps "5-Card Stud Aces" MARK MULER (A's) - $25
2001 SP Game Used Edition "Authentic Fabric" MATT WILLIAMS - $15
2008 Upper Deck "UD Game Materials" IAN SNELL (Pirates) - $8

A note to Listia jersey card sellers: if you mail a jersey card or a thick-stock card via USPS, you shouldn't use a plain white envelope. Even with extra postage and writing "do not bend" or "non-machineable" on the envelope, they WILL put the cards through a piece of machinery that bends the cards, and the odds that the card will be damaged are pretty decent at that point. I spent years working for the postal service, and I can confirm: this IS how things are done at sorting facilities.

Thanks for looking, happy bidding, and good luck.

I ship for free in the US.
I do not ship elsewhere, so do not ask.
These cards will be shipped in a bubble mailer.
Weather and work schedule permitting, these cards should be mailed the Monday following the auction..

That is why anytime I ship Cards I always use Bubble Mailer, Put Cards either between 10-15 other cards or use hard sleeves on both sides and put cardboard around that..Mine are always received in Great Shape but I agree so many dont and end up messing the cards up..

Flat cards can make it through the machines fine; something like a base Topps card. But you're right, thick cards don't, and by not shipping them, it messes them up.
I get the aspect that cards here are free, howsoever when someone lists a card as "mint" they should ship it in a way that it arrives in mint shape. I actually ship jersey cards in an appropriate sized hard case, like the 10-card holders with a snap seal on the side (or, in this case, it will be a 20 or 30 card holder to contain all the cards); they're immobile and the case is much stiffer than the sleeves so it has 0 give in it. Then I put that into a bubble mailer.
