The listing, Antique Sterling Silver & Abalone Ring has ended.

Here you have a size 6 1/2 Ring made of hallmarked 925 sterling silver and an Abalone shell cabochon. Needs a good cleaning. It is not bent or damaged. It is very old approx. 1910 to 1920. Before my grandma got married in 1920. Given to her by a Beaux. Will come in a hard shell jewelry ring box.

*Please note new Pictures--Hope you can make out the hallmark--Its hard to see with a jewelers loop. I did test it and it was positive for Sterling Silver. The pictures don't do it justice--So very pretty.

Does it say Sterling Silver, or just 925? Could you possibly add a few more photos? Of a back view & of the metal purity mark. Thank You

There is what looks to me as being a circle w/ 925 inside, but it is so tiny. I have a precious metal testing kit and it does test as sterling. It might show up better on camera if I brighten it up a little, so I will try and post them later.

Well ....it doesn't fit me and my daughter doesn't like antiques like I do....so.....better to get something out of it. I'm trying to get a phone and a good one goes for a lot of credits....thanks glad you like it.
