Description

The listing, DAGGER DAGGER DAGGER!!! 7 inch overall length, Hard scabbard MUST SEE!!!!! has ended.

Brand spanking new straight out of the safe. 7 inch with scabbard, 6-1/2 out of the scabbard. The blade measures 3-3/8 inch. The handle measures 3-1/4 inches. The blades measures 1 inch wide at the widest part. The blade is stamped stainless on one side the other side is stamped China. The scabbard measures 3-3/4 inches long. As you can see by the pictures, the blade is highly polished. This has a beautiful ornate design on the scabbard and knife handle. The knife fits nicely into the scabbard and easily removes from the scabbard. Almost a slight pressure fit so the knife cannot accidentally fall out. This little baby fits nice in the back pocket, inside coat pocket. Here in NY this would be considered legal to carry, as the blade is shorter than 4 inches. If you bid and win, I am sure you will be very pleased. All Listia rules apply. NO MINORS you must be 18 YEARS OF AGE!! You must also have Verified address or you forfeit your credits should you win. Sorry it's the rules and getting verified is simple through Listia. Follow their prompts and get it done. ABSOLUTELY NO SHIIPING TO CANADA OR ANY OTHER FOREIGN COUNTRY. IT IS TOO MUCH HASSLE. SORRY. Shipping on this will be free and tracking added as well.

Well the word Dirk (Scottish) has been for many years used in place of Dagger mostly because it was more of a pricey ($$$) word amongst the brethren. More sophisticated. Having said that, Dirks were more thinner in width and longer and usually double edged in order to allow the fighter to slip the blade between the plates and folds of armor. inflictining serious wounds without penetrating the armor. Daggers were most generally shorter and single edged. Having said that, we have seen so many variations of both, that it has confused the populace so much that either term is appropriate. Unless we were really bidding on something from early centuries, then I would expect see correct terminology depicting the correct weapon. I know I will never be at that plateau and im pretty sure Listia will never see that either, unless of course, by accident, someone had one laying around in their attic and never knew what they had and put it on here for all of us to fight in a bidding war. Lol. I give you great kudos for commenting on this, as I have not heard that word Dirk in a very long time. My great granfather was a Scottish Mick and he had many stories from the Scotland of old. Thanks kiddo for bringing back great memories. Peace, Bill
