yeah she worked with autistic kids and their families during college and after and ended up creating the charity! it's such a wonderful thing for the families and their children! even some famous musicians have become part of the charity too! its pretty awesome!

One of my boys was diagnosed with autism over 10 years ago but I never heard of this being an autism awareness symbol, I always see the colorful puzzle piece.

So sorry your son was diagnosed. This was a pin that was given as a freebie a few years ago. I'm not positive, but that is the way they listed it when I ordered.
