Ivy ruins bricks and the mortar. Virginia creeper does not do that. That is way people let the creeper grow all over a home not to mention the lovely red color in the fall.

This is NOT Virgina Creeper! To me, that stuff is wild out in the woods and this is not. And I like the way it climbs on houses and walls-and it can be cut to where you want it to climg to

Sorry I got confused. But boston ivy and virginia creeper are the same kind plant just a bit different like the shape of the leaf. So your correct when listing it this way.

I think Virginia Creeper is much uglier. Boston Ivy is not. And that is what this is. Would you like me to take a picture of these seeds also??

Boston ivy is nicer then the virginia creeper. I don't know why I was thinking English ivy cause that is completely different. Sorry I had a bad week. My storage unit is in disarray because of a roof leak and I had some things get damaged and I feel like I am losing my mind. I am just gonna stop commenting until I am myself again :(

Doesn't look anything at all like virginia creeper to me. Had the "creeper" growing all over the place where I used to live. Sheridanayers, there are ways to block certain people from your auctions if necessary.

Aw-I like freedom of expression, and he did apologize, I like his auctions sometimes, no harm done-just having a nice conversation argument online I guess.

Omgosh! It's so healthy and beautiful!! In the summer, put it ot under a porch, getting more shade than sun during the day, mine got morning sun, then shade the rest of the day, and I would saoked the soil every few days, It just thrived in that! Just bring it during the cold months-and it will bloom pink flowers around November. You have done so well with her!

This is another case of common names people call things. English ivy is evergreen it is not deciduous ( a plant who's leaves change colors and fall off). Ivy never sheds its leaves it stays green all winter. I google red English ivy and there is no Latin name for it but lots of pictures of virginia creeper people call red ivy. Ivy rarely produces seeds and is cultivated by cuttings. I have extensive nursery experience with these type plants I sold hundreds. Of them. If you feel my advise is unethical rude or just a bunch of bull then I will no longer comment if you ask me too.

Well, now that you mention it-I kinda dont like how you keep jumping on my auctions and picking them apart. I like your educational standpoint, but then again, your killing me here.

Google it-and you will see this is not what your calling it. It may change to a red, but the leaflets are shaped absolutely different.
