Description

The listing, 10 Heirloom, organic, open pollinated, Italian Cucuzza Edible Gourd Seeds Italian Squash Vegetable! has ended.

10 Heirloom, organic, open pollinated, Italian Cucuzza Edible Gourd Seeds Italian Squash Vegetable! (this is all I have left over to spare here on Listia. I purchased these from a seller based in Italy a few years ago and have added them to my heirloom seed collection. I am going through the collection to see what I have to share with my fellow Listians).
Up for bid are 10 Cucuzzi Seeds, including planting instructions. I will also include a printed recipe for homemade Cucuzza/Zuchinni Bread.
The fruits of the Cucuzza are of a light green color with a smooth skin and can reach three feet PLUS in length. Best picked when young. Enjoy them baked, grilled, in stews, omelets, stuffing and fried. Joined in with other vegetables, cucuzza is a must for your minestrone delight. It can also be dried as a gourd.

I am absolutely obsessive about finding and trying new types of squash. Heirloom makes it even more intriguing bc I have started a tiny heirloom garden. I enjoy adding to it every year. Are these similar to trombone squash?

Yes, I agree, heirloom is the BEST way to go. I'm not sure what trombone squash is but it could be a nickname for this squash as it can look like a trombone! Google it and see....:)
