When you think of the all-time saves king, usually the discussion revolves around Yankees legend Mariano Rivera, but Rivera had to break somebody's record, and that record belonged to Trevor Hoffman, who in 2010 became the first player ever to cross 600 saves. He accomplished 600 saves in fewer games than Rivera, and really should be elected to the Hall of Fame when he becomes eligible.
