Purple Majesty is best started outdoors when temperatures are consistently above 60 degrees or indoors in warmed seed trays. Chilly weather will stop plant growth or weaken its stems, so don't start your seeds too far in advance. Germination is very quick -- just 3 days! -- and plant growth is rapid and vigorous under good conditions. If you begin seeds indoors, the plants will remain green until set outside, then burnish a lovely violet within several days! Stunning!

I knew there was another!! Want to plant this everywhere as I am (as I am sure I have already bored you with!) a big bird watcher since landing here on the farm!! My fav is a woodpecker we named Woody! But with all the birds here, I have a hard time keeping the feeders full! And, with all the plants going in, it is going to be worse for the seed part/better for all that it attracts!
