Its looks to be one of the 6 button Genesis controllers to me. Can you add a pic of the plug?

Does this have the bumper buttons on top of the remote? And this does look like the controllers that come with the yobo systems that will play genesis games.

Then this is a controller for yobo systems. I doubt it would work if u plugged it into a genesis.
