Lovely auction. I use mine all of the time.

GREEK SPINACH MELTS

1 pkg. (11 oz) Pillsbury French Bread dough
1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 plum tomato
1 small onion
1 garlic clove
1 pkg. (4 oz) crumbled feta cheese
1/4 C mayonnaise
1/4 C sour cream
1/2 t dried dill weed
1/4 t salt

Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray PC Valtrompia Bread Tube lightly with oil (you can also just bake the french bread and slice it thin). Cap bottom of bread tube; fill with dough and place cap on top. Bake upright for 50-60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove bread from tube; cool completely. Meanwhile, place spinach in bowl. Chop tomato and onion; add to spinach. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Using serrated bread knofe, slice bread into 1/4" thick slices. Place on 15" round baking stone. Drop spinach mixture onto bread slices; spread with spoon. Bake 10-12 minutes or until heated through. Serve.

No matter the recipe just remember place enough dough in prepared bbread tube to fill approximately half full; place lid on top of Tube. Allow bread dough to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until Bread Tube is 2/3 full. Bake and cool as directed above.

Cheers.

Thanks for the additional info, though I've never let it sit for 30 minutes and just placed it into the oven as per Pampered Chef directions on their website, but I guess it would depend on the bread you are using.

Perfect French Bread Recipe for Tube Bread Cans

•4 eggs, lightly beaten
•1 cup milk, room temperature
•1/4 cup soft butter
•1 tsp salt
•1/2 cup sugar
•1 cup warm water
•2-1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1/4 oz. pkg)
•5 cups bread flour
Preparation:
1.In large bowl, mix together eggs, milk, butter, salt, and sugar. Add warm water and yeast. Stir until yeast is dissolved. Mix in 4 cups flour. Cover batter with clean kitchen cloth and let set in warm place for 1 hour.

2.Stir down dough and mix in remaining cup of flour. Grease 9-inch tube pan and scrape batter evenly into tube pan. Cover tube pan and let dough rise in warm place for 3 hours or until doubled.
