I have to store my catnip leaves in a drawer. My cats keep chewing holes in the bags. I have to be carefull not to open my desk drawer if one of my four cats are in here. They will smell it and oooh my...they won't give me a minutes peace until they get some.

lol they should be very happy kitties then. How many do you have? The bagged that i have is not from the store..it is catnip that i have grown and taken the leaves and blossoms off. and stored for my babies. LOL it just dawned on me. I could keep it in a jar and they would be none the wiser...hhmmm going in search of a large jar.

LOL! i have 2 brother cats, Smokey, with a tail and Bandit, without a tail. they are just about a year old. they were feral and i tamed them. took me a long time because they were born outside. dont know what happened to mama cat. i also have a 17 year old cat named Boo who's just in his own little world. He is living in my laundry basket. finally gave up and made a bed out of it for him, as he pretty much took it over anyway! Molly, my other 16 yr old cat and Boo's friend, died just at thanksgiving. he's just been in a funk ever since. maybe some kitty nip will spark some interest. he used to eat it.
