Handmade Irish Tear Bear paper piecing embellishment. Made from expensive thick handcrafted 150gsm-165gsm mulberry paper. This bear measures approx. 5 inches tall, 5 inches wide. The large shamrock was made with green embossed paper. The small shamrock was made with cardstock. I used a pattern from Beary Sweet Designs to create this.

Definition: Tear bears are circles, ovals and similar shapes torn from mulberry paper to give it a fluffy real like look and assembled into the shape of a teddy bear before being glued together.

There are many uses not limited to scrapbooking layouts, cards, framed with a picture, magnets. The possibilities are numerous!
