Free information only. No need to bid, unless you bid a token point or two to say thanks. This is my story and my Hot Tip for extending the life of your Patent shoes, purses, etc. !!! I wanted a pair of women's Black Patent Pumps. I searched high and low and ended up at Payless. There I found a simple pair of women's pumps with 3 inch heels for about $18. They were exactly what I wanted. Sadly, the shine didn't seem to last very long, but the shoes were still in very good condition. Not wanting to go through another epic shoe hunt, I thought out of the box. I put liquid floor wax on a rag and waxed my shoes. It made sense to me. If it would shine your floors, why not your shoes. IT WORKED GREAT !!! I wore those shoes till they fell apart. I simply waxed them whenever they became dull. I really miss those shoes. Be Cheap and Be Proud of It.
