Dell laptop Pentium m works but when it cones on it says it needs a start up disk willing to answer any guest ions anyone may have.

FYI: you this laptop only holds a ( IDE HDD of 80gigs only ) it is a older laptop

Noah if you don't have the right memory and you crash that computer then uve ruined a perfectly good computer

Sounds like it is booting the dvd drive first instead of the harddrive first in the boot lineup if you know anything about computers its an easy fix but if you don't know ghow to change the boot order then ure better off to leave it alone the boot order I believe is found by pressing either the F2 key Or the F12 key on dell while the machine is starting to boot up
