This is a 1987 Topps DOUG FLUTIE rookie card.

Flutie, who cemented his legend early with a Hail Mary pass to lead Boston College to a victory over Miami to help Flutie win the Heisman, looked to have no luck as an NFL QB; he went through the Chicago and New England organizations before landing a job in Canada, where he played for several years. Upon his return to the NFL years later with the Buffalo Bills, Flutie was poised and aggressive for a small-stature QB and captured America's hearts for much of the late 1990s, even having a breakfast cereal (Flutie Flakes) named in his honor.
