Description

The listing, Vintage French LIMOGES Covered Candy Dish has ended.

This listing is for a beautiful piece of Limoges China. This is a small covered and footed bowl. I called it a candy dish but it is smaller and probably more like a ring dish or something. Anyway, it is nice and it has no damage like chips or cracks. Marked on the bottom Girauo Limoges France. Also marked under the lid as pictured below.

Shipping is free in the continental US.

That's beautiful - I recently watched one estate sale TV program and most of the collectors used to check the underneath stamp of the company, year, country . If you add another photo of bottom of this bowl, may be US collectors will look into :), Best of luck, you need to pack it very well.

I didnt eeven notice the inscription untill after I did the listing. Then I went to measure it or something and saw what was under the lid. It actually is the same color and it is not raised. I really think it may have been done at the factory. Not 100% sure but that is my guess. Pretty strange if thats the case. Thanks for looking. Patti
