You can apply these to clean dry nails. File the overhang down with a file. They also have a tips section and the way I do it is to put a color of nail polish on and let it dry then put these stickers on, remove the excess and then put a clear dry coat on top. So there are many ways to do it. But they are beautiful and super easy.
