The wings are stitched with a rustic top stitch and they flap open - but don't worry - she will not fly away :) EVERY SINGLE stitch on this is done by hand. The sides are stitched, then stitched AGAIN with a buttonhole stitch to hold everything in. These are pocket warmers - eye soothers. Heat it in the microwave for only 30 seconds, then keep your hands nice and toasty. Or... for tired eyes - place it in a plastic baggy, then in the freezer to chill. Remove it and the soothing scent of doTERRA essential oils and real lavender buds from within will ease stress and headaches. Lavender has a calming impact on even the grouchiest person. When not in use, please store it in the provided little baggy to retain the scent longer. It is filled with dry rice, lavender buds and the best doTERRA essential lavender oil.
