Antique SS Coffee/Tea Service.....excuse the look, it needs polishing. And the creamer pourer broke years ago. After this Auction is over, I'll take it to get accurate postage based on the weight & the winner's address. Winner pays shipping.

what does SS stand for?? sterling silver?? stainless steel??

Sterling Silver....it needs to be polished badly. And I will look it over closely for any stamps/hallmarks soon

any stamps/hallmarks would more than likely on the bottom should be very easy to see should say the word sterling in most cases. when you get a chance can you take a pic of the stamp. its a beautiful set

My ex Mother n law bought it for me in England I know that much. And I'll look for stamps & hallmarks now.

This set is BEAUTIFUL & very ornate. There are no stamps or Hallmarks on it that I can find & I looked thoroughly. But, as some of you may not know, as I didn't til recently....a jeweler informed me that Sterling Silver is either not always stamped or can be stamped & not be SS (Sterling Silver). Just an interesting tidbit :) as you can see from the pics this is very tarnished & my apologies I won't hv time to polish before shipment. But it IS an ANTIQUE SET & Sterling Silver. Ty for the W & F's & I hope I've helped with the ?s. Happy Bidding!

At the end of the Auction I'll take it to the Post Office & get EXACT Shipping based on weight & winner's zip code. Then contact winner with the amount via PP invoice. Once paid, I'll ship. Ty!

I did. I've had it for years. I thought I remembered seeing a hallmark on bottom of tray, but looked again & there isn't one. I know it's an antique & was bought in England somewhere.
