~ About My Hand Cut Fabric & Sweater Knit 'De-Pilling Stones' ~

My De-Pilling Stones are made of a very porous, light weight rock type material, that cuts the fuzz & pills from the surface of most fabrics, such as sweatshirt, sweater knits, cottons, and woolen fabrics. In less than 1/2 hour your clothing item can take on a new life.

Note: (Not to be used on single knit swimwear, or silky like undergarment materials, as snagging may occur).

As you carefully scuff, the stone across the top of the fabric, the stone cuts the pills off, leaving the item smooth and pill free once again. Your stone will come labeled and wrapped as in the photo above. Our stones are great for gift giving too. Full instructions for using the stone, included with each stone purchased.

Note... 'Each stone is approximately... 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”

I teach a knitting class and we use these on our hand-knit items, as well as our personal clothing. We used to be able to purchase these from our local Dry Cleaners... but because we were buying so many, they stopped selling them to us. This is why I buy, and cut them from the raw material... it started out by my filling our own needs. As to shipping... I pack well, but I don't send them out in fancy labeled boxes, I try to keep all mailing costs low. The stones are nice because there are no batteries to replace... you just have to remember where you put them... they are so handy you may easily forget where you used it last!
