I wish there had been a model available for this hat because the pictures do not do it justice. I may take a picture of mysel in an adult size one and post that so you can see how it really looks.
It is a double layer fleece as it says but made so that it is long enough to tuck down inside your child's coat/jacket and stay put for extra warmth. It also has a button loop closure.
