Totally cute, gently used, washed denim. Low waist flair / bootleg legs. I didn't try them on on they are too small with no return. Give these pants a good home!

I recently left my husband and not only does he have control of the checking account, he changed the locks on the door so I can't even get in to get all of my clothes. He bought the house before we were married so he legally has the right to change the locks. Being on disability, I have limited income so I'm trying to get a few things on listia until we go to court. I love these jeans and hope I win them! F&W

Dawn, thanks for writing. I understand. I am a single mom on disability, but I have also worked for 14 years as a women's advocate at a battered women's shelter. n the meantime, for clothes, look into community resources. Call your local shelter and ask where to get free clothes, there is likely somewhere you can go. Often the local food shelf has a clothing section, or the Salvation Army will help. Is there anything special you need? I could put together some things on a low GIN if you can pay some shipping. You are clearly smaller than me and I have a lot of clothes that don't fit. Feel free to pm me.

That's very kind of you. I have gone to several of the local thrift shop and picked up a few tops but they never seem to have any jeans in my size which is why I'm "shopping" on listia for jeans.

He had become emotionally and verbally abusive in the last year which is why I left him. I had been married before to a physically abusive man and I knew I would not put up with another situation like that. I am worth more than that and I am better than that. I only wished more woman would realize their self worth and get out of these violent situations but some have become so brain washed into believing that they are worthless, they begin to believe it, I know I did the first time.

You have a good heart and I hope things get better for you too. My children are grown so I am thankful I don't have to raise children on disability. As I'm sure you are all to familiar with, you barely get enough money to live on.

Thanks again for your kindness.

Just wanted to tell you that if you go to usps.com (united states post office) and sign up, you will get a free postage scale and money to apply to postage cost. It is also cheaper to print out postage on line. You can also request the free flat rate envelopes and boxes and have your postal carrier deliver them to you. You can schedule to have your packages picked up at your home so no more going to the post office! I have been doing it this way for about 8 months and it has saved me time, money and gas.

I have also discovered it is cheaper to send things in a regular box rather than the flat rate boxes and you can still do first class postage, I sent things out before Christmas and had I used a flat rate box instead of a regular box, it would have cost me almost $6.00 more.

You can always use the flat rate boxes and cover them with the brown mailing paper in order to ship it cheaper. I buy the mailing paper at the dollar store and you can cover several boxes with just one roll of the paper.

Just thought I'd share a tip to save you some money whether you are shipping things out for listia auctions or just for your own personal use.
