CHILDREN'S, GIRLS SIZED PAPER SEWING PATTERN

DRESS AND SASH

Here we have a McCALL'S paper pattern for a girls, child's sized dress and sash.

The basic design is:

The dress is low-waisted.

It has a button trimmed bodice that is attached to a two tier skirt.

There is a back zipper fastening.

There are long or short puffed sleeves.

The length of the dress is above knee length.

The variations are;

Variation a) has a purchased rosette trim.

Variation b) has a two-piece collar and cuffs of lace, trimmed with edging.

Variation c) has a back buttoned stand up collar and cuffs with edging trim.

The instructions to make the bias cut sash are included.

What a great versatile pattern. This is very cute. It will adapt well to today's styles.

The recommended fabrics are fabrics such as:

Cotton and Cotton Blends, Taffeta, Satin, Velveteen, Organza, Plisse, Pique, Lightweight linen Dotted Swiss.
