this is one of the prettiest of all the Ruby in Fuschite I have

the red you see in the pendant is Ruby

30mm long the beading hole is side to side

yes it is a gemstone pendant used in making necklaces, it is the bead you build your necklace around. it is the centerpiece of a necklace. holes are hard to measure but this looks about 2mm
