Handmade Purple Bunny dressed Tear Bear paper piecing embellishment. Made from expensive thick handcrafted 150gsm-165gsm mulberry paper. This paper piecing measures approx. 4 inches tall, 5 inches wide. I used a pattern from Beary Sweet Designs to create this.

Definition: Tear bears are circles, ovals and similar shapes torn from mulberry paper to give it a fluffy real like look and assembled into the shape of a teddy bear before being glued together.

There are many uses not limited to scrapbooking layouts, cards, framed with a picture, magnets. The possibilities are numerous!

Don't miss out! I can't make the same tear bear again. If I have the materials I can make one similar. But each tear bear or critter comes together in my hands. They take on their own personalities.

LOL!! This one just cracks me up!! So darling and fluffy :) Just curious how long have you been making tear bears? Yours always look so perfect and I simply LOVE the ones I have been Lucky enough to win!! You need to make a video of how you make one and put it on youtube or whatever that place is called! I go there sometimes to see what different ways to use scrappy supplies I can find. I just never know what I will see you have at auction.
