W is for West Point, D is for Denver and P is for Philadelphia. Look very carefully behind Mercury and you will see a W which means this coin was not minted in Philly, but at the US Military Academy in West Point, NY. Can you please double check?

I'm not sure what the W stands for, but all of the Mercury dimes have that mark. The mint mark, if it had one, would be on the reverse right after the word "one". No mint mark, so it was minted in Philly.
Thanks for checking out my auction and thanks for bidding.
