Actually I just kept increasing my maximum bid just like every Listian can do

All you have to do is bid, then bid again, then bid again, but you have to increase your maximum bid each time. So if you bid 29,000 then 30,000 then 31,000 you will have 3 bids up on the same auction. It is not an auto bid sequence. You have the capability of doing so just like I do.
