Just plug your phone into the mouse pad and you will be able to answer your phone without leaving the computer, and because of the caller ID you will know whether or not you need to take the call or let it go to voice mail. It also allows you to use the speaker phone that comes installed on the mouse pad to answer the phone without leaving the computer. Great idea. Now, you can be on the computer and the phone at the same time and not lose a step.
