Vitex Negundo is a heat and drought tolerant plant that will provide pollen and nectar for honeybees all thru the Summer and into Autumn. They will spread easily by seed, making an eventual grove if you care for one....Included in the pack is over 100 seeds. They are from near my apiary, so I know that they are fertile... Plant early indoors for early setout in the Spring. Large shrubs will reach 8-12 feet easily. They cannot live outside in Winters above zone 5, but they do well in the heat and droughts of Texas. ...I am beginning to run low on these now, so you will not see many more, if any more, offerings. Maybe in smaller packs. Anyway, if only half sprout, you'll still have 25 large shrubs to find a place for..Therefore, I am considering a 25+ count bag for smaller yards. Whadda ya think?
