I have been to the September 11th memorial and if you look beneath the grates you can still see the ruble beneath from the towers. No birds fly and it is ominous the feeling of a crime scene still and the buildings around there still show burn signs on sides. It is a beautiful Memorial , done right, but you feel as if it was just yesterday and the gift shop hold personal belonging they found in a glass case. If you ever decide to go plan ahead for ticket and high security carry light and you are searched a few times even children. the walk thru security measures alone is over a mile. A very sad place, its hits you in a dark place in your soul so deep that when you leave you need a minute or so to collect yourself. Just thought I would pass that along.
Have to agree with mikedevario looks like a challenge coin printed after september 11th not anything to do with twin towers. do you know what challange coin is? i or he can explain.
One of the firemen who died there was my friend.we met when I was there visiting to go on the Povich show.He started throwing snow balls in my motel window. Then we had a big snow ball fight out side the fire department. He was going to be a new father. His child never got to know its dad
