Description
The listing, Large Early 1900's Unused Blotter New York Central Lines Railroad PAPER MEMORABILIA has ended.
Large 9" x 4" WONDERFUL VINTAGE RAILROAD PAPER COLLECTIBLE OR MEMORABILIA!
Early 1900's Unused Blotter New York Central Lines Railroad sponsored this safety warning for autos. Note the billboard which reads, "Think, driver, think! Cross crossings cautiously" Note also the antique car and train coming. Back side is blue absorbent blotter paper for when fountain pens were used. Worth $25.00. Excellent condition! I got this from an estate of a lady I knew in Wolverine, Michigan who lived in an old house. The attic had boxes of old books and other items FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNERS which I took to sell for her. I still have some of the sewing patterns and books, late 1800's and early 1900's.
Questions & Comments
I am a member of the Southern Michigan Railroad Society in Clinton Michigan. We are a small museum and we have 12 miles of track that we run our trains on
It is not a newspaper, but an ink blotter with advertising on the front. I know that it is the same age as the other books and patterns that were in the attic with it.
