The listing, Turned wood goblet has ended.

Hand turned wood goblet made from red oak. Piece is decorative only, I would not suggest eating or drinking out of it. If you have questions or want to see other turned pieces I have made let me know.

My sister and husband partake in old west rendevues (rendevouzs) in North Dakota, and they drink out of wooden cups, mugs and bowls like this. I think it's okay, as long as it's oiled first, with olive oil. Lovely work!

Thanks so much! It is waxed with a beeswax orange oil mix so it might be ok there but I'm unsure if the wood was treated with anything. It was dunnage on a ship coming from the Philippines. any time I'm unsure of a pieces history I always throw that out there. I don't want anyone getting sick. thanks for the input more to come. I can also take custom orders.
