The listing, New Ipod Shuffle 2nd Generation Docking Station and Broken Ipod Shuffle has ended.

A friend of my husband's works for the county picking up garbage. He found the Ipod in the garbage. I cannot get it to work but I know nothing about Ipods, etc. I looked it up online since he wasn't sure what it was. As far as I can tell it's a 2nd generation Ipod shuffle. The switch on the top is a little ragged as if somebody tried to get it to work with force. (See picture) Maybe you can get it to work or use it for parts.
The docking station I ordered new from Amazon. It was only used to try and get the Ipod to work. My computer acknowledged it so it was working but I got noting from the Ipod. It still has the little plastic cap that protected the USB plug in the mail and the tie to hold the cords together.
These will be sent with a tracking number within 7 days of getting the winner's verified address. If you aren't verified, get verified before you bid or don't bother bidding because I will not send it to an unverified address.

The charging dock is for the shuffle 2nd gen. But the shuffle itself is a 4th gen. Hope that helps! =)

Yup! See, I love the concept of the dock charger for such a small thing. And technically, you would think it would work, but apparently that dock works with the Shuffle 2nd gen only.

What you need would be a small cord with the 3.5mm headphone type jack on one end and a usb on the other. If you search other shuffles on Listia you can see what it looks like. They are only a few bucks on ebay.

I'm guessing it worked a few seconds until it realized compatibility issue, but am suspecting that your shuffle itself is probably fine and simply needs a charge.

Well, that would be awesome but since I am auctioning it, I won't be spending any more money on it. If it does work, that would be a great bargain for whoever wins it!

Oh, and the toggle on top of your shuffle is in the "on" position so it's likely battery drain.
