Hosta is known more for its showy, colorful foliage but they do flower--these are pale purple. Hardy in USDA zone 3-9, likes moist rich soil but will grow in clay, part shade, full shade and even full sun in northern climates. You just can't kill this thing. Not invasive, but will spread slowly. Divide every 5-7 years and give to friends.
