We have just purchased a different wireless router and decided to list this one here. This is not the original box so I wrote the correct info for this router on the front of the box that it will be shipped in. This router is in New Condition and works perfect. Please view pics.

We can't locate the cd or manual. There is a link with this listing in PDF file for the complete manual.

You do not need the CD or internet access to configure your router.

Your router has an inbuilt web page which you access directly.

The default address to access your router is:

http://192.168.0.1 you will type this into you search bar on your computer.

This will then give you the login screen. The default username and password are:

Username...= admin
password....= password

You will get what you see in the pics, the power adaptor, leg stands, ethernet cord, the router and the box. (Box is not original as stated above).

It's a router that you connect to a cable modem to create a wireless signal or, it can be used as a bridge router to run off an existing router to expand the signal further. By connecting it to your existing router you would use an ethernet cable and place this router as far as you cable will reach. We have 2 routers on our property, One is in the main house and the other is connected with a 150 ethernet cable to the carriage house at the rear of the property. Hope this helps Hun. Thank you. (:

Do you also use this type of router for a laptop? My sister was telling me that she has a laptop but needs a wireless router. I don't really know much about the new technology out there. I'm new to the computer still after a year lol.

Yes we do Hun. We ship with USPS. All items we ship come with confirmation which is also tracking as well. USPS recently changed there shipping terms so, all packages with confirmation is the same as tracking now. Thank you. (:

i have heard that this model has connection drops issues have you ever had any issues with your Internet dropping or disconnecting randomly with this router ?

All routers do that, it just depends on your carrier that you have. Can't remember if this one did but, I would say yes at one point or time. Our newer Netgear router just purchased has done it in the last couple months.
