The listing, Antique Silver Metal Tongs, Bird Leg & Claw Design, 6 1/4" Long has ended.

Antique silver metal 'claw' tongs could be used for a sugar cube bowl or ice cubes....or anything!! These are in great condition, could use some polishing.

All I know of them is that they are very old, and there is absolutely no manufacturer or metal type marking on them.

are they silver plated or solid silver? one way to check is to see if it is magnetic...

They are silver in color I tried to do the magnet test and they slightly just barely attach to it so I am assuming they are just silver color metal

The magnet test will not always work because could be made of copper or brass with silver plating....
