I think that it is a fantastic and laudable thing to grow seeds organically, at home, and sans pesticides. Kudos! However, mullein is an invasive species throughout much of the US. I know it's considered an invasive because I've worked at eradicating it throughout the Sierra Nevadas, Montana, and the mid-west, including the seller's home state of Minnesota. Once it takes hold, eradication takes many years, as it grows anywhere disturbed and sunny and the seeds last a long time. It out-competes native flora and ultimately destroys habitat. It is particularly dangerous in wildfire-prone areas. I don't say this to disparage anyone who wants to grow it, but to recommend that (in North America) it only be grown indoors or else that the seed heads are removed before it can reproduce outdoors. I think that those who are concerned about growing organically are pretty amazing, and responsible, and I'm hoping also open to accepting more personal responsibility regarding the growing of mullein. And I apologize if I offend anyone; I only mean to inform so as to protect native environs.
