Hello =D your looking at a Toshiba Netbook (mini nb-200 * NB205-N325BL). it still has the protective covering around the screen.

****PLEASE NOTE THIS IS *****NOT***** IN WORKING ORDER!!!

i purchased this for my ex, last year around income tax time. he used it for about 3 days when something "mysteriously" happened to it and it wont work. when you plug it in it powers up but no screen or anything. ive done everything i could (not computer savvy) and idk whats wrong with it and i dont have the money to get it looked at. it's been sitting around since so i am hoping someone on here can use it for SOMETHING! everything that came with it is in the box, and will be sent in the original box as well.

I fanned. My husband and I have purchased several laptops off of here and have yet to find one he couldn't fix. I'd like to get this one for my daughters birthday. she is gonna be 5. My husband fixes computers for a living. So we have many in our house. But I guess you can never have too many. We are tech geeks I guess. But I have a almost 5 year old and 3 year old that knows how to build a computer and also how to sign themselves into online and play games. LOL. My 3 year old can beat most grown men at video games. LOL. They are going to be child prodigy's. LOL. Actually my 5 year old wants to be a doctor tho... she wants to fix people like mommy. (I am a nurse). And my 3 year old wants to create buildings. He love to draw so we are thinking architect. LOL. My 22 month old is really bossy and is always right so we are thinking lawyer for her. HAHAHA. Its awesome to dream big for your kids and let them know there dreams are attainable. I just love them so much. Its funny when you have one kids and you go to have your second your not sure you have enough love to share. the funny thing about loving your children is that your love grows so it doesn't have to be shared. Each of my children are unique in there own way and I love each of them more than life.

well, this would be the perfect computer for her then! theres no scratches, no nothing! and infact the protective covering is STILL on it! your story made me think about my own daughter. im thinking dancer/gymnast/singer. she 2 1/2 and knos everyy word to every justin beiber song! and she copys the people dancing on tv. i just got the kids bop cd and she already knos all the songs (she used to sing along w/ the commercial lol) she knos the alphabet front AND back, phone number, address oh my i could go on! she's my only one but sometimes shes enough for 2 or 3 lol. sounds like you have some REALLY awesome kids =D so gooood luck to you if you bid, im sure your soon-to-be 5yr old would be amazed to her her very own mini laptop for her b-day!!! sounds like you have a WONDERFUL family <3

i've been doing some research on this model and have found it's not uncommon for this actually to happen (shame on Toshiba >_> ).. actually I've had other Toshiba computer devices that have quit in an unusually short amount of time.. so I can't say I'd ever pay money for another one..
I have seen some people be able to resolve this issue tho, so I am wondering, do you know the administrator Password so that if one is able to resolve the blank screen issue, they wouldn't have to overcome the next obstacle of reformatting, etc.. on the box in your pic it doesn't mention recovery discs in it so I'm assuming there are no discs for that purpose either.. so would you have the password needed to log into Windows? just thought i'd ask, and if you find out whether it works hooked up to another monitor PLEASE let me know!! i know it can be done with typical laptops, but I am not sure about this particular netbook.. thanks in advance! (and i fanned ya!)..

wow, i dont know if it was a Toshiba problem or an ex-bf problem lol but if it was Toshiba thats awful. i dont know a whole lot about computers so my question to you is, do you have to set up a admin password? should that be an obstacle i can find out what it is. your right (i like when people really read the description) =D theres no recovery discs (no disc drive) and last but not least i tried hooking it up to my laptop but i couldnt get it to work. however i may have done it wrong idk to be honest! thank you so much for the information, and ill fan you back!!

well, if your ex only had it for a few days, it's possible he never put a password on it, tho would there be a way to find out if he did? it sure would make it easier for me to bid (high) on it if I knew i wouldn't have to reinstall anything.. lol

im almost positive he didnt put a password, however he is my daughters father so yes i just txt him to see if he ever did. he's working so idk when he will reply, but asa he does ill let you know! i do kno he pretty much NEVER got to do anything with it. whoever wins, id LOVE to know whats actually wrong w/ it tho!!
