This is a Verizon wireless LG Extravert. It has a touch screen and a slide out qwerty keyboard. This phone is in great working order. I stopped using it the first week of September because I switched from pre-paid to contract and bought a Nokia Lumia. This phone would be perfect for the younger child who you think needs a phone but you want to limit access to the web. This is the type of phone that, when my kids were younger I bought them to give them all the talk and text they wanted but no access to the internet so I could keep them out of sites they should not have been in. That being said, as an adult you will be disappointed in this phone, but younger kids will appreciate the slide out keyboard and great signal. It is pre-paid, and I do not know if you can add it to an already existing contract account, you would have to call Verizon.
The phone has great battery life, gets a great signal in places where other phones have trouble, and comes with a charging cord.
