Description
The listing, 1918 BUFALLO NICKEL avg circ. with readable date has ended.
A pretty worn Buffalo, but the date is readable. For a 1918 Buffalo this it's really not too bad. As you can see in the pictures, the date can be made out quite easily and most of the details are pretty worn, but this old Buff will fill a hole in that Buffalo Nickel Folder or Album.
Good luck and check my current listing often as I will be listing great coins and coin related items as well as other interesting collectibles all week.
Thanks for looking, Tony
Questions & Comments
I got one of these nickels (non readable date) in a roll the other day. Also in a roll of pennies got a silver 1/4 Gulden from the Netherland Indies. I am always amazed what I find in a roll of coins especially when it is silver or a coin that is not to often found in circulation. As always nice auction and I am in!
I have no idea. Obviously not by me. I think by the picture you can see that the date is genuinely strong and sharply struck. I guess you have too make a call. Anybody who's bid on my auctions knows I pay extra attention to my descriptions and if I had thought this coin to be acid tested I most definitely would have put it in the description. Is there something specific in the images that leads you to believe this coin has been acid tested? If you see something I missed, in all sincerity, please share it with everybody before bidding ends as I'm sure it would have a great impact on how many credits they are willing to bid. If it was just a random question, please don't ask them in the future as they could hurt the outcome of an auction. Thanks for looking and if you have anymore questions I'll be glad to answer them, Tony
