The listing, Nolan Ryan AutoPen Autograph has ended.

You are bidding on an autopenned (99% sure) Nolan Ryan autograph I received about 19 years ago through the mail from his old Dezzo Dr home address. Me and my friends all got them and Nolan is well known for using the autopen. Looks pretty good and is still cool to have, I am not responsible for any damage during the shipping process.

Questions & Comments

I say 99% sure because if you look at the signature itself the ink is darker in certain areas, most autopenned signatures are very even because a machine is doing them without pausing. So thats the only thing that makes me raise an eyebrow regarding if its authentic. I pulled a 2005 Topps Retired Auto of Nolan Ryan so i can let this go. it is larger than a baseball card. I have another one like this of David Justice. The ink on his autopen? Perfectly even.

I would like to say how refreshing it is that you listed this auction for what it is, a possible autopen. So many people on this site lately are listing items that are clearly pre prints, autopens, or secretarials. Even going as far as to argue the authenticity of the fakes! Thanks for being honest!

i want people to know what they are getting, if it looks like an autopen (and a lot of my friends got these...) im not going to lie. if its through the mail or in person i will tell people, if i see it online as an autopen (with a much more evenly inked signature) im going to say what i saw. i really do think its an autopen, if someone gets it dna certified and im wrong (doubt it) good for them. i never give away what i cant afford to lose, (and i never sell, i just dont think it would b right unless its one pulled from a pack) so even if this is real i have a real one already. i want fans, i want people to know im honest, so they bid more. when i gave away one of my peskys and my first comment i ever got was "did you get it certified?" i decided to make sure im as honest and detailed as possible with any autograph so when i say "i got this in person, its real" people believe me. thank you for the compliment and happy bidding!

its more of a black and white photo with the signature on it. if you look up "Nolan Ryan Autopen" on google and go to the images u will see a few of this exact picture with a signature on it. like i said b4, those autographs look even, this one isnt, but mind u if he did this with an autopen from 20 years ago of course it would look a little different than the newer ones.

i also have a don mattingly like this but bigger. havent done any research to look for images of other ones or anything yet but im going to assume its an autopen too. i will only auction that, my dave justice, and bo jackson preprint (not autopen...much faker) if i have auto card of them to replace them. i got them as a kid...too hard to let go without something to replace them that i KNOW is authentic.
