No. Not cross body bag. It's a handbag. And when I ship it out, I will ship it through fedex ground and give whoever I ship it to the tracking info so that they can track it.

The star is adjustable, but I don't know how much. I never used it. And it still ha the tag on it.

any odors (smoke or otherwise?) and can you post the measurements of the bag and of the strap drop? thanks!

No odors of any kind. Been in a smoke free home on the top shelf of my closet. I will post measurements ASAP. The strap can be Fairly long. But the bag itself is the size of a handbag.
