2) A note to all folks who are in the RED Swap: Welcome letter, Dates Reminders, SHOWER concept reminder, some FAQ's/Answers I have gotten, The Contests/Prizes, and anything else I can't remember at the moment.

3) A note to all folks in only the Cupid Swap: Reminders, dates, important listia buying notes (since its getting late before due-date), Contests/Prizes here too!, and again anything else I remember by then.

4) A note to all newbies who are in either swap (newbie is someone who has not swapped with us before, NOT new to the site). I think doing it this way I can make the veteran's messages shorter than usual. This makes me kinda want to do something BIRTHDAY/SPECIAL DAY THEMED for the CORE SWAPPERS. Meaning - 10-15 of us that want to do it (however many want to) would each signup their family members (NOT extended ones....you, hubby/partner/sig other, and your kids) for an ongoing birthday thing. And it could include anniversaries, graduations, engagements, births, etc.

Since I would expect NO faking from the selected 10-15 folks (10000% commitment needed!) then I would keep it going through the year. I have several ideas floating in my head now on how to make this work.

ANYONE WANNA GET SOMETHING LIKE THIS STARTED WITH ME?

I think it would be really neat!

And not really a swap - it would be making sure folks get nice things on their special days, from some or even all of us (depending on amount of sending that would be - see, kinks need to be ironed out). You would still send/receive the same, but nothing at the same time...more like when your special time comes around. And it could be anything from cards to gifts to whatever. And no rush b/c its for the whole year.

Thoughts??

@tara pillow pets are pillows that unfold and are shaped and look like animals they ahve several diff kind they sell at walmart but were started in tv and i'm pretty sure i've seen them in frog i know they have ladybugs lol. they are $20 at walmart lol

I am so glad I live in Alabama.
We don't get those kind of storms.
We just have hurricanes to worry about every year.
Most of the time they aren't that bad at least where I am.
I know ya have heard about what the hurricanes have done to Louisiana, Miss, Florida and even parts of Alabama.

@Aqua_Angels Same here! They said we are going to have the worst snow storm in over 10 years here in Michigan. Started at 5pm today and will not stop snowing until Wed night. Say we gonna have up to 20" of snow and 40mph wind. Yuck! Won't be going anywhere Wed. lol Glad i got my shopping done earlier.

Sounds really icky out that way!! We're covered in snow already but at least its not still coming down right now. The wind is horrific, blowing piles up that are taller than me outside the door :-/ Plus the school just called and no transportation aka kids home again tomorrow. 3 days in a row now.

We have received over a foot of snow since about 2am this moring, It is only going to get worse. uggg... We are having a blizard there.. So it will delay a little on the packages. No postal carriers today... Cant get on the road to drive. Hopefully it will be better or drivable once the city workers get out... ( probably in 2 days. )

ick sounds bad and super colllld there. i haven't been able to see the ground here in nebraska in weeks. snow has been constant - when it stops, its too cold to melt and on days it starts to go away, it never fails to snow those nights. its been too icy for the school driver too - kids have been home for 2 days. takes A LOT to close things here (back in VA, growing up, I remember school closed for 2 weeks at first sight of a flurry lol). blah to this weather!

@ElabethTreasures I am so glad he lked it. I thought male teenagers would be hard, ut you have the most easiest teenager, LOL. You don't see many teenagers doing crafts. I got Aron the keychain because I was thinking he woul have house keys and that this would be perfect, didn't know he would be driver soon :) Most of the teenagersthat I know like War Heads, Gum and games, so I thought the candy would be great to.

Aron and my oldest son has ALOT in common as Jared's room is Halloween and green. We were suppose to paint it aqua green, we bought the paint, but never got around to painint it. Jared wanted slime green, but we compromised. Jared also lovesanything Halowwen and Goosebumps from R.L Stine. I am siging him up next month in March so I hope our sos can be partners. it would be neat, LOL
